Our home base is a family-friendly environment that is peaceful and relaxing for riders and horses alike. Located in Newcastle, the 10+ acre ranch includes gently rolling terrain and open fields, and is shaded by oak trees. Besides the horses, a small menagerie including chickens, goats, cats and a fabulous dog call the ranch home.
Our horses enjoy living as a small herd with constant access to 12x12 stalls and acres of pasture. For those who choose to ride at our home base, I offer an open riding area with ground poles, jump, and barrels. For those who want a more formal setting, I schedule lessons at the Loomis Basin Horsemen's Association arena at the Loomis Community Park off King Road in Loomis. The arena is 120'x225' with sand footing and covered bleachers. The park also offers a short trail loop for those wanting to practice trail riding skills.
